Our idea of starting the development of a veterinary service distantly came in 2019, when all previous ways of life changed due to COVID-19 and its related restrictions.

 

Historically and until recently it was established that the safest and the only way of helping a patient is only possible during the visit. But we have suddenly been confronted by the impossibility of acting in the habitual ways. It has become a big challenge for all of us that gave us only two possible solutions: stop all the activities or accept a new reality and start acting.

 

Realizing how many lives and well-beings depended on us we started to use all the options to be able to continue to help our patients. And we have found out that the careful and attentive communication with our clients in fact makes the biggest part of our work and in many cases is even the only needed for the positive outcome. The idea that, instead of limited work (only in localized clinics), we could help many more pets and their owners all around the world came from that experience.

 

Today we are really happy to finally announce our PetFriend Online service and with great pleasure would like to present you our lovely Doctor Anna Simhes — the main ideologist and developer of this project.

 

Dr. Anna graduated in Veterinary Medicine (with a specialization in Companion Animal Medicine) at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the Estonian University of Life Sciences in 2017. 

From graduation till now she continues her studies and she increases her skills by taking part in International Conferences and Seminars as well as in day by day practice. Veterinary Medicine is not only her work, but also a big passion and even a kind of art.

 

During all 7 after-graduation years she is constantly evolving herself and at the moment is specialized in different areas:

 

• Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of internal disease, specially complex-diseases; 

• Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infection diseases; 

• Critical care;

• Urology;

• Endocrinology;

• Anesthesiology;

• Dentistry

and...

• Feline Medicine - Dr. Anna's absolute passion :)
